Malaysia

Malaysia is a country in South East Asia, covering 329, 750km² with a population of around 31 million. It is made up of two large regions. West Malaysia, with its mountain ranges, large forest areas and beaches as far as the eye can see, and East Malaysia, made up of the Sarawak and the Sabah territories.

The main language is Malay. However, many different ethnic groups rub shoulders in Malaysia, so it would be fairer to say the most used languages are Malay, English, Cantonese, Mandarin and Tamil.
Situated around 200km from the equator, the Malay climate is of the “very humid equatorial type”. Temperatures swing between 25 et 28° throughout the whole year.

On a trip to Malaysia, you will be charmed by the richness of its environment. The primary forest covers a large part of the country and is home to impressive flora and fauna, coral reefs and mountains also contribute to this great biological diversity.

The Langkawi archipelago, which is the first Geopark in the region, George Town on the Island of Penang and Malacca are classed as UNESCO heritage sites.
Between these two historic ports, stop at Kuala Lumpur, the capital, which radiates its dynamism and cultural diversity.
Finally, above all, don’t miss the Island of Borneo, as well as the states of East Borneo like Sarawak and Sabah. A paradise for nature and animal lovers.
