Description:

To start with, you will be met by your guide at your hotel lobby.

This full day tour brings you to Malacca, a historical town located 150 km from Kuala Lumpur and whose city centre has been declared UNESCO Heritage Site.

Malacca is the historical state of Malaysia, rich with heritage buildings, ancient landmarks and colonial structures since it was here that colonial forces first reached Malaysia. Over a period of 400 years, Malacca has been first colonized by portugese, then by the Dutch followed by the British, and finally occupied by the Japanese during WWII.

Visit the Dutch Square surrounded by the pink coloured Stadthuys, Christ Church, and Clock Tower, while featuring at its centre the Queen Victoria Fountain.
You will also see the finely decorated Cheng Hoon Teng, the oldest functioning Chinese temple in Malaysia which was founded in 1645.

Proceed also to The Porta De Santiago, the Gate to the Portuguese fortress “La Formosa”, built in 1511, from where you can reach the ruins of the St. Paul’s Church, where St. Francis Xavier was once buried.

After a local lunch, you will have time to stroll around the Jonker street, famous for its Malaccan antiques, nice boutiques and local handicraft.

Trip back to your hotel at the end of the excursion.
