Description:

Day 1: Pakse - Champassak

Meet your guide at Pakse airport.
Transfer to town to enjoy a real Lao coffee at Sinouk Café.

After this short break, head towards the pier to descend the Mekong towards Champassak (around 2 hours cruise).
Continuation by road then discovery of the impressive Wat Phou temple, a pre-Angkorian site dating from the 10th century. This complex was a Hindu site before converting to Buddhism.

Free time or bike ride with your guide to discover the surroundings and the small alleys of this charming city.
Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 2: Champassak - the 4000 islands - Champassak

Beginning of this beautiful day with the discovery of the Khonphapeng waterfalls, located in the south of Laos on the border of Cambodia, which are also called Niagara of the Far East.

Excursion by motorized canoe following the Mekong current to reach the region of 4000 islands.
You will stop at Done Det, where you can take a Tuk Tuk (on foot or by bike) to the bridge, a perfectly preserved vestige that links the islands of Done Det and Done Khone.

Discovery of this other island where you can admire memories of the past, colonial era buildings as well as an old locomotive vestige of French settlers.
Finally, you will go to the impressive Liphi Falls near the Cambodian border.

Lunch at the local restaurant on the Mekong at Done Khone.
Return to your hotel at the end of the day.

Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 3: Champasak - Boloven Plateau - Pakse

Departure to the Bolovens plateau, very fertile region in the south of Laos, territory of the Lao Teung minority and its unforgettable landscapes.
On the way, visit a village of blacksmiths, a coffee and tea plantation and the beautiful falls of Tad Fane, Tad Nyeung (swimming possible) and Tad Phasouam.

Lunch at Sinouk Coffee Resort.
Return to Pakse, and installation at your hotel.

Dinner and overnight at your hotel.

Day 4: Pakse - Departure

Free time for the last purchases, discover the city in more depth then direction the airport for the flight to your next destination.
