Sunrise Mt. Batur Trekking

Highlights

- The sunrise at the top of Mont Batur, walking on a active volcano

Description:

Early morning we will pick you up from your hotel to drive to the milder climate at 1200 meters above sea level.

Begin the 2 hours trek to the top (1717 m) to enjoy the sunrise.
From here you will have a magnificent view of the sunrise over the crater. We walk around the rim of the volcanic cone to see the crater of the last eruption.

The last eruption of the Batur was in 1994 and the volcano is still active with smoke rising from its heart.
Descending from the volcano you have to pass a sea of black sand.

Breakfast will be served on top before returning to your hotel.
(Only recommended to participants in good physical condition, good walking shoes required).
