Description:

Come to the real Heart of Bali, discover all what your grandparents saw!

To start with, you will be met by your guide at your hotel lobby, then we will drive to the west side Bali and arrive at Pejaten Village, here we will have a short 20-30 minutes stop to see how every family has a little factory of roof tiles at their home, with approximately the half of the villagers working in this sector.

Next we take a short stop to see the traditional ceramic making process in a famous factory in Bali, and then continue our tour towards a traditional market in Kerambitan.

After exploring the market we drive to Pesagi Village via the village of Gadungan Kangin, passing through cocoa plantations, towards Dalem Gadungan Temple where your guide will inform you about cremation and the belief in reincarnation.

After our stop at the temple we take a drive through little villages passing children will wave “Hallo!”, crossing mountains full of terraced rice fields.
Your Driver- Guide will explain to you the lifestyle of the Balinese and about the rice field water irrigation, “Subak”, famous in Bali and which contributes to spread the water for all of rice field areas in Bali.

A Balinese family will invite you to enter to their traditional house for a Balinese Coffee or Tea and typical sweets from Bali before we will proceed with a visit to the historical Tamba Waras Temple.

Continue to our next stop at local family house where we stop for lunch, and an immersion into the lives of a local family.

Drive back to your hotel at the end of the excursion.
