Day 1: Arrival Medan – Bukit Lawang
Arrive at Kuala Namu International Airport in Deli Serdang, where you will meet and greet at the airport by our representative and then directly transfer to Bohorok / Bukit Lawang, passing through Binjai and some small towns.
En route we stop at rubber, palm oil and cacao plantations with some countryside landscape.
Arrive in Bohorok / Bukit Lawang where you directly check in hotel for overnight.
Rest of the day will be free at leisure.
Day 2: Bukit Lawang – Trekking at Gunung Leuser national park
After breakfast at the hotel, we start the morning with the soft walk along the Bohorok riverbank to the crossing point exploring Bukit Lawang, Gunung Leuser national park, one of the largest national parks in the world containing over 800,000 ha of virgin rainforest.
We hike up further into the forest giving an up-close view of incredible scenery with various tropical plants including a tangle of enormous trees, twisting lianas, palms, ferns, and weird and wonderful flowers.
Sightings of some of the park’s primates; Long tailed Macaque, Thomas’s Leaf Monkey, White-handed Gibbon and Orangutans are all possible.
Then return following a quite steep trail through the forest down to the station of the river bunk crossing by a cable and pulley driven dugout canoe.
After reaching the other side of the river then, proceed to walk up passing stalls & lodges on a rocky path back to the hotel.
Day 3: Bohorok trekking – Berastagi
Morning is dedicated for free at leisure,
Afterward continue driving east through vast rubber and oil palm plantation to Binjai, which is then proceed driving on the same road back to Medan.
Afterward proceed driving up on the forested foothills of the Bukit Barisan mountains by passing panoramic view of Nature Reserved of Sibolangit before arrive at Berastagi.
Day 4: Berastagi – Parapat / Samosir island
Scenic drives to Lake Toba, one of the deepest and largest crater lakes in the world, stop at Dokan, a Karo village with number of traditional houses, we visit one of the houses which still being used by eight families living in together.
Next visit is Sipiso piso waterfall and the long house of King Simalungun.
Arrive at Parapat, a little town at the edge of the lake Toba, we cross the lake by motor boat (ferry boat for about an hour) to reach Samosir Island the homeland of Batak people.
Rest of day is free at leisure.
Day 5: Samosir island – Boat excursion
After breakfast at hotel, we spend a day cruising by boat around Samosir Island to Ambarita to see the traditional Batak village with its ancient megalith furniture.
Then continue to Simanindo to see the Batak Toba traditional houses and to see a folk dance. Proceed by boat to Tomok Village with its historical old tombs of king Sidabutar.
Arrival at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the afternoon free at your own leisure.
Day 6: Samosir island – Parapat / Medan
Across back to Parapat cruising on lake Toba and continue driving following the main road through the mountains on a long gentle slope around the Toba rim rounding back a corner through and above a same sheer cliff at Sibaganding.
En-route we also visit the Vihara Avalokitesvara - a Buddhist Temple, then proceed to your next hotel in Medan for overnight.

Day 7: Medan – Airport
Morning is free at leisure for relaxing until the check-out time.
At appropriate time departure from the hotel to the airport to catch the flight for your onward destination.
