Day 1: Arrival Medan – Bukit Lawang

Arrive at Kuala Namu International Airport in Deli Serdang, where you will have a meet and greet at the airport with our representative and then directly transfer to Bukit Lawang.

Drive about 4 hour’s, passing through Binjai and some small towns. En route stops at of rubber, oil palm and cacao plantations with some countryside landscape.

Arrive in Bukit Lawang check in hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Bukit Lawang – Trekking at Gunung Leuser national park

In the morning, we will depart to Bukit lawang, Gunung Leuser national park, one of the largest national parks in the world containing over 800,000 ha of virgin rainforest.

The journey leads past scenic rubber and palms plantations, enjoy a swim in the cool mountain air. A hike up further into the forest giving an up-close view of incredible scenery with various tropical plants including a tangle of enormous trees, twisting lianas, palms, ferns, and wonderful flowers.

Tour Highlight: trek through beautiful primary forest and have a possibility to see Orangutan and others magnificent apes in their wild habitats.

Afterward return to your hotel for refreshment and rest of the day is free at leisure.

Day 3: Bukit Lawang – Departure airport / Berastagi

Option I: Bukit Lawang– Kuala Namu Airport

At the appropriate time (maximum until 13:00 hours) drive back to the airport through the same vast rubber and oil palm plantation to Binjai then directly proceed to Kuala Namu Airport to catch the flight to your onward destination.

Option II: Bukit Lawang – Berastagi

Morning after breakfast, we continue drive to the cool and pleasant highland town of Berastagi passing through country side and enormous government-owned estate of oil palm and rubber plantation.

Upon arrival we will drop you at your next hotel in Berastagi.
