Description:

To start with, you will be met by your guide at your hotel lobby.

Makassar, formerly known as Ujung Pandang is the capital of South Sulawesi and the sixth largest city in Indonesia.

We start with a visit to Fort Rotterdam which also houses the Lagaligo Museum (closed on Mondays). This museum consists of two buildings housing ethnological and historical artefacts.

Next a visit to the old harbour, which is home to the famous "Phinisi" or Bugis schooners.

Last stop Clara Bundts to see their famous collection of shells and orchid gardens.

Trip back to your hotel at the end of the excursion.
