Raising to 3.726 meter the mighty Rinjani is the second highest volcano in the Indonesian archipelago.
A tough trekking is ahead, but to experience the view and natural of the giant is a lifetime experience. Famous among trekkers around the world for its amazing color displays during sunrise.
Trekking through coffee, cacao and tea plantation the trek is not only a sight of the eyes, but hands on nature adventure.

Day 1: Senggigi – Senaru village – Senaru crater rim - 8, 5 hours trekking up

06:00  -  Transfer from hotel Senggigi area to Senaru Village

07:45 – 08:00  -  Trek registration at Rinjani Trek Center, Senaru

08:00  -  Trekking group departs Senaru Village (601 m) for Second Rest Post (1500 m) Approximately 3 hours walking time.

11:00 – 11:20  -  Morning Break

11:20  -  Depart second rest post for third Resting Post (2000m)
Approximately 3 hours walking time.

14:00 – 14:30  -  Lunch break

14:30  -  Depart third Post for Senaru Crater Rim (2641 m)
Approximately 2.5 hours walking time (afternoon break on the way).

14:00  -  Depart third Post for Senaru Crater Rim (2641 m)
Approximately 2.5 hours walking time (afternoon break on the way)

16:30  -  Free Time, dinner and overnight base camp at Senaru Crater Rim Cam

Day 2: Senaru crater rim – Senaru village – Senggigi - 8, 5 hours trekking down

06:00 – 07:00  -  Watch sunrise

07:00 – 08:00  -  Breakfast

08:30  -  Depart Senaru Crater Rim Camp for descend via Third Rest Post to Second Rest Post with break on the way. 
Approximately 5 hours walking time.

13:30 – 14:00  -  Lunch Break

14:00 – 17:00  -  Final descends to Senaru Village.
Approximately 3 hours walking time.

17:00  -  Sign out at Rinjani Information Centre Senaru where your pre-arranged coach is waiting

19:00  -  Arrive at hotel Senggigi
