Description:

A perfect combination of Bali’s cultural and natural highlights with Lombok’s laid back beach resorts.

Day 1: Sanur - Ubud

Start your day with a visit to Batubulan village, which is famous for stone carving. Here you will watch a Barong and Kris Dance showthat describes the eternal struggle between good (Barong) and evil (Rangda).

After witnessing the Barong dance performance, continue driving to Celuk, the center of silver works, Batuan to visit a Balinese traditional home and Mas for itsfine woodcarvings.

Your final stop is Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali with many art galleries, displaying art from both local and foreign artists. Lastly visit Puri Saren Agung whose royal family ruled Ubud from the late 1800’s until 1917.

Rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 2: Ubud rafting

Enjoy the thrills of the rapids, the beauty of the scenery and observe rural Balinese people in their day-to-day life along the riverbanks on this thrilling journey down the Ayung River. This activity is safe and lots of fun for all ages. Lunch buffet will be served in the terraced river café at the end of the trip. Afterwards transfer back to your hotel.

Day 3: Ubud - Candidasa

We head east to visit Kerta Gosa, the Hall of Justice. Surrounded by a beautiful moat it provides a good example of Klungkung architecture and painting, demonstrated through the murals which line its ceiling.

Next make a stop in Kusamba, a fishermen and salt making village, where you can see the colorful outrigger boats which line the black sand shores.

A drive along thhe costal road to Goa Lawah (Bat Cave) offers views out over the ocean to Nusa Penida. Explore the holy Goa Lawah cave, with its wall which vibrates with the thousands of bats which line them.

Finally drive to Tenganan, an original Balinese village, and a stronghold of ancient traditions. Here you can see the local women weave the famous “flaming” cloth, kamben geringsing, which supposedly has the power to immunize the wearer against evil.

Day 4: Candidasa - Gili Trawangan

From the hotel you will be picked up and transferred to Padang Bai harbor where you will board a speedboat to Gili Trawangan - “Blue Water / Bali Eka Jaya Speedboat”.

Upon arrival in Gili Trawangan you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.

Day 5: Gili Trawangan

Free at leisure. You can enjoy optional excursion around the island.

Day 6: Gili Trawangan - Lombok

After check out make your way to the jetty for your speedboat transfer to Lombok (only 10 min by speed boat). Upon arrival in Lombok you will be met by your driver and guide and transferred to your hotel.

Day 7: Senggigi - North Lombok exploration

Pick up from the hotel for your exploration to North Lombok. First you will visit Pusuk Pass and enjoy the panoramic views over the Gili Islands.

Drive along the northern coastline of Lombok to Sendang Gile waterfall. This waterfall is set among tranquil surroundings and is the perfect setting for lunch. After lunch, continue to Sembalun Lawang and Bumbung village both lying in the Sembalun valley and hidden on the eastern slope of Mt. Rinjani. Here you can discover one of the Sasak ethnic groups, with their unique tradition.

Your last stop is the Kingly Garden of Narmada whose spring water is believed to grant eternal youth.

Day 8: Lombok - Bali

Morning departure from Lombok to Bali, transfer by boat “Blue Water / Bali Eka jaya Speedboat” to Padang Bai harbor and then continue with transfer to the Airport or to your hotel in South Bali.
