Visiting Sidemen will bring you some scenic, untouched sights. The Kertagosa is a great example of the Klungkung style of architecture. Kusamba is a fisherman’s village involved in salt making. The Goa Lawah temple is also known as ‘Bat Cave’. Tenganan is a village with original inhabitants, Balinese Aga. The most important, largest and holiest temple of Hindu religion in Bali, Besakih temple, will take your breath away.
Pick up from your hotel in the south Bali (covering the area of Sanur, Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Jimbaran, Uluwatu, Nusa Dua and Tanjung Benoa) to Sidemen.
On the way to Sidemen we are heading east to see the Kertagosa, or Hall of Justice, built in the 18th century in Klungkung. It is beautifully laid out within a moat and provides an exquisite example of the Klungkung style of painting and architecture which can be seen in their ceiling murals.
Continue on to Kusamba, a fisherman village that also engages in salt making where you will also see colorful outrigger lined up along the black sand shores.
The coastal road with full view to Nusa Penida will lead us to Goa Lawah (Bat Cave). This cave, whose walls vibrate with thousands of bats, is considered holy and a temple and surrounding shrines protect the entrance.
After arrival in Sidemen, we directly transfer to the hotel for check in.

Day 2: Sidemen - Trekking - Besakih temple
We start the day with the morning walk through the rice fields to the village of Tenganan, the original inhabitants by Balinese Aga who produce with traditional methods of Ikat and basketry. Then depart for a 2 hour hike through a landscape of paradise dominated by the volcano Agung to the village of Bebanden.
You will go back to your hotel for a rest and free time at your leisure.
After lunch you will visit Besakih Temple, the largest religious complex situated on the slope of Mount Agung, Bali’s highest volcano.
Day 3 : Sidemen - South Bali
The whole day is dedicated in Sidemen village for free at your own leisure or the time you could take the optional excursion to explore the surrounding.
At appropriate time, we pick you up from Sidemen for your transfer return to the hotel in South Bali, or to the airport for your onward flight for the next destination
