Thailand’s terrain is characterised by a high plateau, a central plain and high mountain. These cover most of the North of the country, forming the border with Burma. The other bordering countries include Cambodia, Laos and Malaysia.
Thailand, like most countries in South East Asia, has a monsoon climate. They have a dry season (December to April) and a wet season (end of May to November).
Due to its climate, Thailand is particularly rich in bird species (more than 1,000) and native mammals, living mainly in national parks or nature reserves. For example, we can see tigers, leopards, elephants, bears, bisons, monkeys, dolphins, tapirs, sea cows, etc.
Thailand has an important touristic diversity that will delight all travellers: heavenly beaches, primary and tropical forests, history, culture, cruises, forgotten tribes, impressive fauna and flora, without forgetting the legendary Thai smile.
